Sarah Palin Recognizes the Failure of Current Drug Policies

“We need to prioritize our law enforcement efforts, and if somebody’s gonna smoke a joint in their house and not do anybody else any harm, then perhaps there are other things that our cops should be looking at to engage in and try to clean up some of the other problems that we have in society that are appropriate for law enforcement to do.”
-Sarah Palin, Former Governor of Alaska & Republican Vice-Presidential Nominee

      • Perhaps I’m being harsh, but the woman does not do herself any favours when she bases her competence in foreign policy on her proximity to Siberia, or when she confuses North and South Korea, or her meagre understanding of her own country’s history. Then there’s the way she considers media criticism to be a violation of her First Amendment rights, how she thinks polar bears are not an endangered species, her tenuous grasp of semantics….I could go on. Consequently, this sudden recent outburst of lucidity has taken me quite by surprise. Have the body-snatchers invaded our planet?
